Match Report
RGS The Grange Worcester Boys-U10A vs  Winterfold House School
On: Wednesday, 11 Oct 2017
Venue: Away

What a game day...

Thirteen boys boarded the minibus for the short journey to Winterfold House School. The Under10A team warmed up with a quick passing drill, prepared for tackling and were soon ready and on the pitch for the match. The boys were running hard and straight with the ball in hand and each run was supported by a teammate, where we were spectators to some excellent offloads. After pressure from both teams, Liam Chadwick ran through to score the first try of the match. The boys were soon under pressure again and Winterfold squeezed through to score their first try of the game. Both teams were playing well and it was a very evenly fought match, with Tobey Giles scoring our second try and Winterfold following through with an equalising try.

The second half continued to have spectators captivated with both teams working hard in attack and defence. All of the boys were working their socks off on the pitch and we were really pleased to see tackles going in low from many of the boys along with superb support play. The final score was RGS The Grange 20 and Winterfold School 15, with Liam Chadwick going on to score a further two tries in the second half to end the match with a hat trick!

Well done to all of the boys who played today!
